Definitely take a tour to get an orientation to Zanzibar! The history of Zanzibar is fascinating and our tour guide really knew his history and took us to all the notable historical spots as well as show us remnants of Zanzibar's colonial past.

После заповедника, по плану ныряние с маской и ластами рядом с островом. Отличный сервис, быстрая лодка, все очень пунктуально. Local guide who lived in the village led a very interesting tour of his village, which included a visit with the village witch doctor who demonstrated an herbal cure for influenza. Enjoyed a curry chicken lunch in a private home. We were a group of 11 adults and everyone thought this tour was a high point of our Zanzibar experience. Highly recommended.
